Capt. Travis Bio

Capt. Travis Urbin is the owner and operator of Crystal River Manatee Fun. Born and raised near Traverse City, Travis spent every spare moment fishing and boating on the beautiful blue waters of northern Michigan. Being on the water is Capt. Travis’s passion, and his love fro the ocean brought him to Florida where he graduated from Chapman School of Seamanship in Stuart, FL with a US Coast Guard Captain’s License.

Travis is also a PADI certified Rescue Scuba/Free Diver, and has been running Manatee Tours, Diving, and Fishing Charters in the Crystal River area for the past 6 years. He is a specialist in fishing for species like Grouper, Cobia, Snapper, Redfish, Sea Trout, Mackerel, Hogfish, Sharks, and Tarpon.
